MUJOSH Beta Pitot square eyeglasses in beta-titanium, 13.5g, matte gold temples, low bridge fit

Beta Pitot, in detail

Mixed build with metal temples. A glossy square round front meets slim gold beta titanium temples, in two colorways including this black and gold pairing.

Acetate tips with CD texture. The temple ends switch to warm acetate tips finished with fine metal CD texture details where they rest behind the ears.

Shaped for a lower nose bridge. Beta titanium keeps the temples light and springy, and the front is cut for a lower nose bridge to stop slipping.

The Loom on the Plateau

Her wrinkles hold the wind of the plateau. Ama sits on the withered grassland, snow mountains stretching behind her. A white fox-fur cap presses down her graying hair. Behind round-framed glasses, her eyes are fixed on the ball of black yak wool in her hands.

This wooden loom was built by her husband when she first came to this land. Decades have passed, the wood polished smooth by time, the ropes replaced again and again, yet she still sits in the same spot. Bending forward, pressing the weft, pushing tight. Her movements are slow, but her hands never tremble.

The coral beads around her neck were passed down from her mother’s mother. Turquoise earrings sway gently in the wind, like the distant whisper of prayer flags. She speaks no words, yet her fingers speak endlessly, threading the warp, winding the weft, weaving days into this thick strip of püru. The grassland is vast; she is small. But she says: as long as she can still weave, this craft will not break. The wind blows down from the snow mountains, lifting the hem of her Tibetan robe. She lifts her head, glances toward the distance, then lowers it again.

The loom beats on, like the heartbeat of the plateau.

FAQs

Product & Fit

Who do these frames fit?

Frames marked low bridge fit are cut for a nose that sits lower or flatter: the bridge is positioned lower, the lens tilt is reduced, and the frame is shaped to clear the cheeks. Most styles suit any wearer. The SIZE AND FIT panel on this page gives this frame's own measurements.

What are the exact dimensions?

The SIZE AND FIT panel on this page lists this frame's lens width, bridge, frame front, temple length and lens height, in both millimetres and inches. The most reliable way to size a frame online is to compare those five numbers against a pair you already wear comfortably.

Can I get prescription lenses?

Yes, on selected frames. Where the product page shows a Customize Lens button, you choose single vision or progressive, pick a lens type and a lens brand, and either upload the prescription you already hold from your own optician or send it to us afterwards. MUJOSH fits the lenses at its own optical facility. MUJOSH does not run eye exams in the US, so the prescription has to come from a licensed optometrist. Not every frame carries the option yet. If the frame you want shows no Customize Lens button, contact us through the chat or the contact page and we will confirm what is possible.

Do the lenses block UV rays?

MUJOSH sunglass lenses are made to block UV. The lens specification for this particular frame, including its UV rating and whether it is polarized, is listed in the product details on this page.

Can I change or return my item?

If you want to change a product into another model, please contact us so we are able to reserve the new item in our stock immediately. You are always entitled to an exchange or refund within 30 days after you have received your package, as long as the item has not been used.

Materials & Quality

What is this frame made of?

The material for this frame is listed in the product details on this page. The range includes acetate, beta titanium, stainless steel, Ultem and TR90, and many frames combine more than one, for example an acetate front with beta titanium temples.

Are the lenses polarized?

Polarization varies by model. Where a frame has polarized lenses it is stated in the product details on this page, and the full polarized range is in the polarized sunglasses collection.

Where are MUJOSH sunglasses made?

Our frames are precision-engineered in our certified manufacturing facilities with strict quality control at every stage. Lenses are crafted using advanced optical technology to ensure clarity and protection.
