MUJOSH Brand FAQ

About MUJOSH

Who is MUJOSH?

MUJOSH is a design-led eyewear brand founded in Shenzhen in 2010, where it is still headquartered. MUJOSH designs and manufactures its own frames rather than licensing them, and sells sunglasses and optical frames online in the United States at mujosh.us.

Is MUJOSH owned by EssilorLuxottica?

No. EssilorLuxottica is an investment and cooperation partner of MUJOSH, not its owner. MUJOSH designs and develops its own frames; the relationship brings optical engineering, supply chain and compliance expertise.

Does MUJOSH have stores in the United States?

No. MUJOSH sells online only in the United States. Two stores opened in California in 2018 under a franchisee and have since closed. Articles that describe those stores as trading are out of date.

Where are MUJOSH frames made?

MUJOSH designs and manufactures its own frames in China.

Does MUJOSH sell wooden frames?

Wooden frames are part of the MUJOSH range in China. They are not part of the range sold in the United States.

Fit and sizing

Do MUJOSH frames fit a low nose bridge?

Yes. MUJOSH frame patterns are developed for Asian head shapes across the whole range, so the low bridge fit is not limited to one collection. If frames normally slide down your nose or leave marks on your cheeks, this is the reason to try ours. See Low Bridge Fit Sunglasses and Low Bridge Fit Eyeglasses.

Which MUJOSH frames have adjustable nose pads?

The WAKE UP sports models have adjustable nose pads, so the fit can be tuned to the wearer. Other MUJOSH frames use a fixed bridge cut to the pattern.

How do I know which size to choose?

Each product page lists the frame measurements under SIZE AND FIT. Compare them with a pair you already own and wear comfortably: the lens width and the bridge width matter more than the overall frame width.

Prescription lenses

Can I order MUJOSH frames with my prescription?

Yes. Choose your frame, then upload your own optometrist's prescription. Lenses are fitted at our own facility in single vision, progressive or blue light.

Do I need to supply my own prescription?

Yes. We do not carry out eye exams and we do not currently work with optical partners in the United States, so you will need a current prescription from your own optometrist before you order.

Ordering, returns and warranty

What payment methods does MUJOSH accept?

Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay and Google Pay.

What is the returns policy?

Thirty days to return or exchange, counted from delivery. If the item is faulty we pay the return shipping; for any other reason the return shipping is yours. Frames need to come back unworn and in their original packaging, and there is no restocking fee.

Is there a warranty?

Every MUJOSH frame carries a one-year warranty against manufacturing defects. It does not cover accidental damage, lens scratches from daily wear, or loss.

Does MUJOSH accept vision insurance?

No. MUJOSH does not accept vision insurance or process insurance claims.

How do I contact MUJOSH?
